Barrett's Oesophagus Project Co-ordinator (Part-time)

A co-ordinator is sought for an important new project to develop a register of Barrett’s Oesophagus patients among a number of centres nationally.

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will possess a Degree or Masters level qualification in a Science or Healthcare related area and will have at least 2-3 years experience of managing research or health related projects.

This role will be part-time and the post-holder will report to Prof John Reynolds, Professor of Surgery at St. James’s Hospital and Trinity College, Dublin and, while they will be based at St. James’s Hospital, they will co-operate with and travel to the other hospitals that will be involved in the project.

The post-holder will be the employee of St. James’s Hospital Foundation – with funding for the role most generously provided by the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.
