Mini Marathon success for Sandra O'Rourke and friends

Sandra O’Rourke, long time friend and supporter of St. James’s Hospital, has presented €5,030 to the hospital Breast Care Department, funds raised by her and a team of 14 of her friends and family in connection with their participation in the 2009 Women’s Mini Marathon.

Sandra and her group raised funds by collecting sponsorship and by organising a pub quiz in the run up to mini marathon day. This is the second year running that the Foundation has been presented with over €5,000 by Sandra on behalf of her group, funds that have benefited the Breast Care Department at St. James’s.

St. James’s Hospital Foundation is most grateful to Sandra for her continuing support for our work and to all her team who so generously fundraised. We hope to see them again next year!
