Rathangan Tractor Run

Over 30 tractors, motorcycles, vintage cars and bicycles took to the roads of Rathangan, Co Kildare, on November 1st 2009 as part of a tractor run held by the Malone family in aid of the Oncology Unit at St. James’s Hospital. 

The Kildare family held the event in memory of their wife and mother, the late Mrs Vera Malone, who was a patient of the Oncology Unit in 2009. Despite some rain on the day, the event enjoyed a wonderful turnout, and raised over €11,000 for the hospital.

Fun was had by all at the event, which included the tractor run followed by refreshments and live music at the Burrow Pub, Rathangan. All entrants received a medal for their participation in the event. To view pictures from the day, please click here.
