The Friends of St. James's Hospital

From 1704 to 2011 medical care for people has been provided on the site of St. James’s

Philanthropists and private interests have joined with the state during the last three hundred years to make St. James’s the country’s largest teaching hospital. Today the hospital has ambitious plans for further development of its physical infrastructure and facilities. However, while the hospital is largely funded by government, private donations will always be needed to help make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary healthcare.

By joining The Friends of St. James’s Hospital, you will become a member of a unique community of supporters who will play a key part in developing a healthcare facility of which we can all be truly proud.

As a Friend of St. James’s Hospital you will receive the annual report of St. James’s Hospital Foundation, regular updates on Foundation and hospital news, and an invitation to a special Friends event each year. Most importantly, you will contribute to something that will improve people’s lives for generations to come .
