Nursing Open Day

We are hosting a Nursing Open Day on Saturday 24^th September (10.00 to 16.00).  All welcome to join us.

It is the quickest and easiest way to learn first-hand about our job opportunities, our culture and our Nursing community at St. James’s Hospital.

So if you are a Nursing Professional, come join us to explore the many opportunities across a wide range of clinical specialities in the hospital.

The open day is a one-stop-shop event for nurses and offers loads of benefits, such as:

• discuss career opportunities in SJH where training and development is truly encouraged
• the opportunity to be interviewed on the day (subject to meeting the shortlisting criteria)
• informal visits to the clinical areas to get a ‘true feel’ for SJH
• the chance to meet our friendly clinical staff and chat all things ‘Nursing in SJH’
• to learn about the wide range of specialities and experienced multi-disciplinary teams in SJH– there’s definitely something for everyone
• to find out more out what our Centre for Learning and Development has to offer our staff to enable them to give the highest standard of evidence based care to our patients
• HR staff available on the day to answer any of your queries relayed to the recruitment process, relocation package and our HR policies.

So, if you want to speak to people working in the field and pick their brains about the skills and qualifications needed to help you make the next move in your career, then come along to meet us. 

On the day:

• Bring along a completed application form (this can be found alongside our various Staff Nurse Role Profiles below)
• Bring your current NMBI Certificate or Decision letter from NMBI
