General Personnel

What we do

This is part of the Human Resources Directorate. General Personnel provides advice and support to managers and staff on hospital policies and employment legislation. General Personnel is responsible for the day to day management and administration of Hospital Policies and Employment legislation, this includes:

  • Providing advice in relation to entitlements and processing applications for both statutory and non-statutory leave types.
  • Establishing legislative requirements and preparing policies and processes to ensure that the hospital meets its obligations.
  • Communication and implementation of general principles governing hospital policies and practices.
