Medical Workforce Unit

What we do

The Medical Workforce Unit is part of the Human Resources Directorate and is responsible for the recruitment and associated administrative support for all Medical Staff in the hospital.

The main functions of the Unit are:

• To provide comprehensive administration support to all Consultants and Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs)
• Responsibility for the recruitment of all Consultants and NCHDs from advertising to appointment.
• Responsible for processing of all NCHD / Consultant attendance returns including overtime, travel expenses, CME claims
• Compiling and distribution of on-call rosters and management of related queries
• Handling of all general queries and administrative issues relating to employment terms and conditions.
