There is a rest period 1 - 2pm, strictly no visitors allowed

Acute Medical Admissions
The Acute Medical Assessment Unit admits patients directly from the Emergency Department. A.M.A.U. is a 59 bedded unit divided into St. Kevin's (28 beds) and William Wilde (31 beds).

From the James’s Street entrance proceed to Junction 2, turn left and enter the main hospital building.
Continue straight and take the last right towards the blue Route 4. Then take the second turn on the left and continue down this corridor to AMAU.
This unit is divided into two wards. St. Kevin's Ward is straight ahead and Sir William Wilde ward is located on the right hand side.
