Description

Abraham Colles ward is a 31 bedded orthopaedic unit. The department deals with primary trauma and accidents as well as case of trauma referred from other units.

We are a tertiary referral centre for complex hip revisions and periprosthetic fractures, complex upper limb work, haemophilia cases, reconstruction of feet and ankle problems and sports injuries. Team nursing is carried out to facilitate continuity.

Location

From the James’s Street entrance proceed to Junction 2, turn left and enter the main hospital building.

Continue straight and take the last right towards the blue Route 4. Take the second turn on the left and then the lift to the second floor. As you exit the lift turn right and Abraham Colles ward is on the right hand side.
