Description
The 6-bay Cardiac Cath Lab Daycare (Opened March '08) is an integral part of the very busy Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL). Situated close to the CCL, patients arrive to this area from referring hospitals and from home. They are prepared for procedures such as Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI & Stenting), Pacemakers & Intra Cardiac Defibrilator (ICD), Implantation & Electrophysiology studies among others. Post procedure care is also given in this area. Nursing staff rotate to the daycare area from the Cardiac Cath Lab.

From the James’s Street entrance proceed to Junction 2, turn left and enter the main hospital building.
From the main entrance take the first right towards red Route 1. Continue down this corridor and take the second left. Take the next second left into the Cath Lab.
