No visiting at mealtimes:
Breakfast 8am
Lunch 12 noon
Tea 5pm

No visiting during rest period:
1pm - 2.30pm




Coronary Care Unit is a nine bedded, mixed unit. Usual length of stay is 2-3 days. Patients are then transferred to the cardiac ward as their condition improves. The majority of patients are admitted through the accident and emergency department. A number of patients are also admitted via the Cardiac Cath Lab following angioplasty or other specialised procedures.

From the James’s Street entrance proceed to Junction 2, turn left and enter the main hospital building.

Continue straight and take the last right towards the blue Route 4. Take the second left turn. Take the lift to the first floor. Exit the lift to the left and take the next left down the corridor. The Coronary Care Unit double doors entrance is located on the right hand side.
