Rehabilitation Ward

Description

This ward is a 20-bedded female rehabilitation unit for the older person, situated in the middle floor of Hospital 2. A Physiotherapy department and Occupational Therapy room are also situated within the ward. Patients with a wide variety of conditions are transferred in from other wards within the hospital for rehabilitation. Length of stay is subject to individual progress.

We strive to give individualised care by treating all patients as equal and respecting the individuals view. As a rehabilitation ward we involve an interdisciplinary team approach which aims to restore, improve and maintain the functional ability of an individual and her family after illness, disability or failure to lead an independent life. A high emphasis is placed on maintaining privacy and dignity.
