Oncology and Haematology
Walter Stevenson is a 12-bedded unit, which specialises in Oncology and Haematology and is part of the HOPE Directorate. We liase closely with our colleagues in the NCHCD (National Centre for Hereditary Coagulation Disorders), Denis Burkitt Unit (National Bone Marrow Transplant Unit) and Oncology/Haematology Day Care (Ambulatory Care Services).
Our multidisciplinary team strives to provide a holistic service, which is both patient and family centred. The unit promotes a dynamic nursing environment which values education and professional development, thus ensuring a high standard of clinical practice. The ward provides an emergency service outside regular hours, please phone ahead.
