Description

William Fownes is a 26-bedded acute admission unit located on the first floor of the Jonathan Swift Clinic.

The unit is a short-term treatment centre and provides a caring, therapeutic and supportive environment, aiming to restore and maintain good health. Patients are treated using a multidisciplinary approach to care, where a treatment programme is devised with attention to individual needs.

From the James’s Street entrance proceed to Junction 2, turn left and enter the main hospital building.

Continue straight and take the first left towards green Route 2. At the end of this corridor, turn right. Take the next left and left again to reach the stairs and lift. William Fownes ward is located on the first floor.
