Dr Barry is a consultant dermatologist at St James’s Hospital since November, 2012. His interest lies in the diagnosis, management and clinical research of skin cancer.
Dr Barry qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1997 and completed his specialist dermatology training at The Wessex Deanery, Hampshire, United Kingdom.
He subsequently undertook a two-year fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, before taking up a full-time consultancy post there.
