Dr Eleanor McNamara

Speciality: Clinical microbiology

Sub specialities: Public health microbiology

Dr McNamara is a consultant microbiologist in St James’s Hospital and director of the Public Health Laboratory, HSE, Dublin, incorporating the national reference laboratory service for VTEC (verocytotoxic E.coli) and campylobacter infections.

Dr McNamara is a clinical senior lecturer at Trinity College Dublin.
