Runners, joggers and walkers are now invited to take part in the fifth annual St. James’s Hospital Liberties Fun Run. The four races have so far contributed €85,000 to St. James’s Hospital, plus 3,000 new contacts, plus untold goodwill. This is a special race – one of only a few road races in Dublin’s city centre and one with a limited entry – we aim to make this year’s race the stand out one in the summer road race calendar.

The Fun Run this year offers athletes of all levels a new and interesting route around the historic Liberties area of Dublin, and provides an opportunity for supporters of St. James’s to raise much-needed funds for the hospital.

The 2013 race [6K] will start at 7.45 pm on July 18th in the IMMA/RHK. The good times will start at 6.30 pm with music and fun and a full warm-up conducted by the hospital’s chartered physiotherapists. 

All participants will be provided with a timing chip, a souvenir t-shirt and a massage. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third placed men and women.

Thanks to the generosity of our main sponsors, Diageo and Momentum Support, the net entry fees (a processing fee of €1.74 will be deducted for each on-line entry) and all sponsorship raised by the Fun Run will support advancement at St. James’s Hospital.
