Ms Bossut graduated from Universite Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) in 2003 with a Medical Doctorate (MD). She received her trauma and orthopaedic training in Belgium in 2010 during which time she developed an interest in hand and wrist surgery.

She completed fellowships with both plastic and orthopaedic teams in Ireland and the UK and was awarded the post graduate diploma in hand and wrist surgery in 2010 (Franco-Belgian diploma).

Ms Bossut passed the European Board of Hand Surgery in 2012.

Ms Bossut is a member of the Irish Hand Surgery Society, the Belgium Hand Group and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Ms Bossut has a particular interest in training and teaching and is a member of the training committee of the Irish Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.
