Dr Kingston completed her training in psychiatry in Ireland, having received a Medical Doctorate from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an MSc in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) at Trinity College Dublin. She is a member of the College of Psychiatrists in Ireland and was accredited as a CBT therapist by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Dr Kingston’s special interests include psycho-oncology, functional disorders and group-based mental health interventions in the general hospital setting.

Dr Kingston has published in the fields of first episode psychosis and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and also trained in group analytic psychotherapy.
