Dr Naughton graduated from University College Dublin in 2002. He completed Higher Specialist Training in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in 2013. He subsequently completed dual fellowships in Cardiac Anaesthesia, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, UK, and Difficult Airway Management, Guys Hospital, UK, before working as a consultant in Barts Heart Centre, London, UK. He returned to St James’s Hospital in 2017 and is currently the clinical lead for anaesthesia.
