The role of the Legal and Insurance Office is to provide a full service to all staff and support the work of all departments across the hospital. The work of the office involves liaising with third party stakeholders in relation to any legal issues affecting the hospital such as:

• Coronial investigations
• An Garda Síochána requests
• Civil and criminal matters
• Enterprise Liability Scheme
• Insurance issues
• Protected Disclosure Policy
