The Breast Imaging Service at St James's Hospital is one of the National Cancer Control Programme’s Centres of Excellence.
The majority of patient referrals for imaging tests, including mammography, come from St James’ Hospital Symptomatic Breast Clinic or Family Risk Clinic. If you have a symptom that you are worried about, you should attend your GP to determine whether you need to be seen at one of these clinics.

If you were referred by your GP, your results will be sent to your GP via Healthlink.
