Rialto Ward is a care of the older person ward which specialises in rehabilitation (falls/orthopaedic/stroke rehab etc.). Patients are transferred here from acute wards for intensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy under a multidisciplinary team.
This ward aims to assist patients to their most independent condition possible and enables safe and stress-free transition from the acute hospital setting to home or to a long term residential care facility, for both the patient and their family.
