Infection prevention & control

• Clean hands are important; therefore clean your hands on entering and leaving the ward area.
• Please do not use patients’ toilets; there are separate toilets for visitors.
• Liaise with Clinical nurse manger prior to visiting with children.
• Do not sit on the bed or place your feet on the bed.
• Do not bring in any food.
• Do not visit if you have a cold, diarrhoea, vomiting or chicken pox.
• Please follow instructions on signage on doors in wards as required.
• Please discuss any concerns with CNM/Clinicians.
