Interim Chief Executive Officer

Mr Noel Gorman was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of St James’s Hospital in August 2022. Noel joined St James’s Hospital in 2020 as Chief Operations Officer, having previously held the positions of Director of Operations and General Services Manager in St Vincent’s University Hospital respectively.

Noel has over 20 years’ management experience in both the public and private sector. He spent nine years with Kildare County Council as Corporate Buildings Manager with responsibility for energy and facilities management.

In the private sector he held a number of management positions delivering large scale electrical and mechanical projects to industrial and commercial clients.

Noel is committed to the delivery of patient-centered care and operational excellence in service delivery.

Noel holds a BSc in Energy Management and an MA in Leadership and Strategy.
