Professor Elizabeth Connolly is a Consultant Breast Surgeon at St James’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Trinity College Dublin.

Professor Connolly completed her undergraduate MB BCh degree and subsequently her MD in the Royal College of Surgeons. 

She completed her fellowship in breast oncology at the University Health Network, Toronto, Canada under supervision of Dr David McCready.

Professor Connolly has extensive experience in the management of BRCA mutation carriers and women at elevated risk of developing breast cancer. She is actively involved in leading and collaborating on multiple clinical and translational research studies.
