Professor Daly has been a consultant cardiologist at St James’s Hospital since 2010 and is the hospital’s current clinical lead for cardiology. She is also director of the St James’s Hospital Heart Failure Programme and an associate professor at Trinity College Dublin.

  • A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Professor Daly completed her intern and senior house officer (SHO) years in the Adelaide and Meath Hospitals, University Hospital Waterford and St James’s Hospital. She completed specialist training in cardiology between Dublin and London (1998 - 2006) before advanced cardiac imaging fellowships in Royal Brompton Hospital MRI Unit, London, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital Boston, in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology.
