Dr Greene is a consultant in psychiatry for the elderly at St James’s Hospital and a clinical associate professor at Trinity College Dublin.

She graduated from Trinity and completed her psychiatry training in Dublin and Sydney, Australia. She was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from Trinity for her research into subsyndromal mental disorders in later life.

Dr Greene is the clinical lead of the Psychiatry for the Elderly (Psych El) liaison service in the hospital. She works in the Memory Clinic at Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA) and is the visiting old age psychiatrist to the Community Reablement Unit in Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross and Hollybrook Lodge Residential Units in Inchicore.

  • Dr Greene is a faculty member of the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) where she has collaborated on developing and providing the psychiatry curriculum.

  • Dr Greene leads hospital-based clinical research, focusing on cognitive impairment and mental disorders in older adults.
