Mr Lennon was appointed to St James’s Hospital in 2016, where he is part of the largest head and neck cancer team in the country. He has a joint-appointment in the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, where he set up the first rapid access clinic for head and neck cancer in Ireland in 2018.
Mr Lennon graduated from University College Dublin in 2005 with honours and commenced the Higher Surgical Training Scheme in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) in 2010. He obtained his fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery) in 2014 and was admitted to the Specialist Register in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 2016. In 2016 he completed a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Mr Lennon attained a Masters in Science in Clinical Trials from the University of London in 2015 and a Medical Doctorate from the University of Limerick in 2018. He is the author of a large number of peer reviewed publications and two book chapters.
