Superannuation is part of the Human Resources Directorate. The function of the superannuation section is to maintain and update pension services for St James’s Hospital employees in line with government legislation and circulars.
The superannuation team is responsible for:
The administration of the Local Government Superannuation and the Single Public Service Pension Schemes
The implementation of any legislative changes to the superannuation schemes
Offering an advisory service for current and retired employees on their superannuation entitlements
Coordinating and monitoring the transfer of pension service for staff as they move to and from St James’s Hospital
Liaising with internal and external departments or agencies on all matters relating to superannuation
Helping staff as they prepare to retire and draw upon their pension.
