The Information Management Services Department provide a framework of information services to support all aspects of the hospital.

Our main responsibilities involve:

  • Data & Integration
  • Digital Health
  • Infrastructure & Operations
  • Security and Networks
  • The Data & Integration Unit is responsible for:

    • Analytics support to the Organisation.
    • The development and management of a Data Warehouse Architecture.
    • The provision of a Business Intelligence framework.
    • The provision of reporting information, internally and externally.
    • Clinical Coding of inpatient and day case activity.
    • Management, Development and Maintenance of Data System integration and interoperability.
    • Data Alignment and Availability.
    • Development of RPA within the Organisation.
  • The Digital Health Unit is responsible for the co-ordination of all Clinical Services and Systems across the Hospital, planning and mapping of services and capability against resource requirements.

  • The Infrastructure & Operations unit is responsible for:

    • Helpdesk & Customer Support
    • Websites and Web Development
    • Digital Workplace
    • Technical, Hardware & Software Support 
    • Budget Management, Vendor Management and Support Services
  • The Security and Networks Unit is responsible for:

    • The Security of the Hospital’s Network
    • Server Management
    • Business Continuity
