Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange weather warning, due to come into effect on Saturday, 4 January for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Clare, Limerick and Tipperary.
This warning may be extended to additional counties.
At present, ALL services in the hospital are operating as normal, however, travel conditions will be challenging, and service delivery and utilities may be disrupted. As always, our focus will be on the continuity of patient care, together with the safety of our patients and our staff.
Significant snow, sleet, or rain is expected, with hazardous icy conditions likely extending into early next week.
