Endocrinology (diabetes)

The Diabetes Day Centre provides an appointment-only service for diabetes treatment and education, clinical nutrition services, podiatry and general support for patients and their families.

Care pathways are provided by our dynamic multidisciplinary team including; clinical nurse specialist, clinical nutritionist and podiatrist, supported by an administrative team. We aim to provide a supporting role in providing treatment pathways and motivation for people with diabetes and endocrine disorders.

We also support and encourage advances in care pathways and research in these specialist areas.
