The Respiratory Medicine Service provides care for patients with a broad range of acute and chronic lung conditions. St James’s Hospital is the National Centre for Tuberculosis (TB) and the leading lung cancer hospital in Ireland. Services are provided for patients with the full range of respiratory diseases, including interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, bronchiectasis, respiratory sleep disorders and many other conditions.
If you feel you need to attend our Respiratory Clinic, you should contact your GP for a medical review. Your GP can then refer you to our service. Referrals are triaged by our consultants and appointments are clinically prioritised based on the information provided in the letter.
Referrals to our Respiratory Medicine Service can be made via Healthlink or by letter.
