Following on from the success of previous year’s awards, St James’s Hospital is delighted to announce the launch of the St James's Hospital Staff Recognition Awards 2023.
The awards shine a spotlight on staff from across all departments and disciplines of the hospital, acknowledging the dedication to patient care, the powerful collaboration between colleagues, and the ambition to deliver excellent services.
Teams and individuals from across both clinical and non-clinical areas will be commended for their commitment to providing care and their enthusiasm to further develop services across the hospital.
The hospital is calling on patients and service users, both past and present, to nominate staff members for the Patients’ Choice Award. If a member of staff made a difference to you, or your loved one’s hospital experience, let us know, and nominate them here.
Similarly, hospital staff will have the opportunity to nominate colleagues for a number of different awards, including; Team of the Year, Outstanding Contribution, Lifetime Achievement and the Service Excellence Awards
Interim CEO, Noel Gorman, will award both the CEO Award and the CEO Outstanding Contribution award, both an acknowledgement of an outstanding contribution and a significant development/achievement made by hospital staff.
Nominations for the awards ceremony opened on Monday, 18 September and will remain open until Friday, 10 November, 2023.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 14 December and will be streamed online. You can read about last year’s winners and ceremony here.
