The HSE Spark Summit 2026 is Ireland’s national healthcare innovation event focused on frontline led ideas, digital solutions, and service improvements across the health system.

23–26 February 2026

The Winter School in Clinical Research (Online) took place from 23–26 February 2026 and was delivered collaboratively by the Wellcome–HRB Clinical Research Facility at St James’s Hospital, the St James’s Hospital Research & Innovation Office, St James’s Hospital Nursing, and the Trinity College Dublin School of Medicine.
The programme offered a structured foundation in clinical, quantitative, and qualitative research, with practical insights for both emerging and experienced researchers.

Winter Course in Clinical Research 2025

The Winter Course in Clinical Research took place on 8–11 December 2025 at the William Stokes Postgraduate Centre, St James’s Hospital. Delivered in collaboration by the Wellcome–Health Research Board Clinical Research Facility at St James’s Hospital, the St James’s Hospital Research & Innovation Programme, St James’s Hospital Nursing, and the Trinity College Dublin School of Medicine, the course provided an introduction to clinical research and useful updates for those already engaged in research activity.
