World Cancer Day February 4th

‘Closing the Care Gap’ this World Cancer Day

This World Cancer Day, we recognise the power of working together.  We know that every single one of us has the ability to make a difference, large or small, and that together we can make real progress in reducing the global impact of cancer.

This 4 February, we call on you, whoever and wherever you are, to play your part in creating a cancer-free world.

This year, the Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute has come together with its partners St James’s Hospital, Trinity College Dublin and the Irish Cancer Society, to pledge their support of #ClosingtheCareGap.

Those involved in caring for people with cancer, including volunteers, administrative staff, household staff, scientists, nurses, health and social care professionals and medical professionals, have come forward to reveal their pledge of how they will close the care gap for patients in 2024.

Please see some of the pledges below.

We hope you’ll join us this #WorldCancerDay in #ClosingtheCareGap and working towards a future without cancer. Keep track of our posts on X, Facebook and LinkedIn.
