Prof John Kennedy, receives Outstanding Contribution to Irish Healthcare Award

Prof John Kennedy, Medical Director, Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute has received the Lifetime Achievement award for an Outstanding Contribution to Irish Healthcare at this year’s Future Health Summit that was held in Dublin on May 29th, 2025.

The award recognises lifetime contributions to the improvement of health care locally, regionally and nationally in Ireland. Prof Kennedy received the award in recognition of his decades of work in constantly striving to improve cancer care in Ireland over many years.

Speaking about the award Prof Kennedy said ‘This is a great honour for me and I accept it on behalf of all the dedicated, hard-working and committed colleagues in so many disciplines that I have been privileged to work with over the years”.
