Ms Aisling Collins was appointed Interim Chief Operations Officer in August 2022. Aisling began her career in St James’s Hospital where she trained as a pharmacist, leaving briefly to complete a masters in Hospital Pharmacy in Beaumont Hospital.

She returned to St James’s Hospital in 2002 and took up the role as Chief II Pharmacist and in 2015 was appointed as Deputy Director of Pharmacy.

Since 2019, she has been working as the Operations Manager for the Medicine and Emergency Directorate (MED).

Aisling has extensive experience in healthcare management and will provide strong strategic, professional and managerial leadership to all operational activity in the hospital.
