Susan is an experienced Company Secretary and Corporate Governance Professional with over 25 years experience within a number of industries including: Global Technology, Life Sciences, Global Manufacturing and Investments.  Susan joined St. James’s Hospital from Aptiv PLC, a global technology company, headquartered in Dublin and listed on the NYSE, where she held the role of Head of Corporate Governance EMEA.

Prior to joining Aptiv PLC, Susan was Company Secretary of Malin Corporation plc (‘’Malin’’). Malin is a publicly listed company, investing in life sciences companies with a focus on oncology, immunology and genetic diseases. Prior to joining Malin, Susan was Company Secretary of IPL Plastics Inc. (previously One Fifty One plc) a leading sustainable packaging solutions provider which was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. She was also previously Company Secretary of the Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society Ltd, Assistant Company Secretary of IAWS Group, plc (now Aryzta AG) and also held roles in the banking and educational industries.

Susan is a Fellow of The Governance Institute since 2009. She also earned a diploma with the Institute of Bankers in Ireland as a Qualified Financial Advisor and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the National University of Ireland.
