Dr Johnny Boylan is a consultant in genito-urinary medicine. He started in St James's Hospital in 2025.

Dr Boylan graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2010 and completed his specialist training in genitourinary medicine (GUM) at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Royal Free Hospital, London. He subsequently undertook a two year fellowship in clinical leadership and medical education at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) in London. He is currently the Deputy Convenor of the Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine Postgraduate Exam and he serves as an educational supervisor for higher specialist trainees. Dr Boylan is also part of the Medical Education Faculty at the RCP where he teaches.
