Dr Cafferkey graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2009. She was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Anaesthesiology by the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland in 2016. She completed a fellowship in airway management and simulation at St James’s Hospital and the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in 2017.
