Speciality: Palliative medicine
Dr Aoibheann Conneely joined St James’s Hospital in 2022. Her current post is a joint appointment between St James’s Hospital and Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. Dr Conneely is a senior clinical lecturer in Trinity College Dublin.
Dr Conneely graduated from the University of Galway in 2009. She completed her higher specialist training in Palliative Medicine in Ireland in 2018 during which time she also undertook an MSc in Palliative Care in King’s College London. Dr Conneely worked as a research fellow in the Academic Department of Palliative Medicine, OLH&CS, and as a lecturer in Palliative Medicine in University College Dublin, before commencing her post in St James’s Hospital in 2022.
