Sub specialities: Radiotherapy for benign thyroid disease, gynaecology, ano-rectal, haematological cancers and sarcoma

Dr Gillham is a graduate of University College London (1994) and following an MD at Trinity College Dublin was appointed a consultant in radiation oncology in 2009.

He is the clinical lead at the Radiotherapy Centre in St James Hospital, chief examiner for the Final Fellowship in Radiation Oncology, co-founder of the Irish Sarcoma Group (2014) and national lead for Sarcoma. He has been the principal investigator on several national and international clinical trials.
