Dr Hensey is a consultant interventional cardiologist.

 

  • Dr Hensey graduated from the School of Medicine, University College Dublin in 2009. Following his Higher Specialist Training in Ireland, he moved to Vancouver where he completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.

  • Dr Hensey has a special interest in interventions for coronary artery disease and transcatheter treatments for valvular heart disease, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and transcatheter mitral and tricuspid repair and replacement.

     

  • Dr Hensey has established a strong and growing research portfolio, having been published in several high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
