Dr Hensey graduated from the School of Medicine, University College Dublin in 2009. Following his Higher Specialist Training in Ireland, he moved to Vancouver where he completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.

Dr Hensey has a special interest in interventions for coronary artery disease and transcatheter treatments for valvular heart disease, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and transcatheter mitral and tricuspid repair and replacement.

Dr Hensey has established a strong and growing research portfolio, having been published in several high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
