Specialty: Liaison psychiatry
Dr Kingston is a consultant in liaison psychiatry with the Psychological Medicine Service at St James’s Hospital. She was appointed as consultant in 2014.
Dr Kingston completed her training in psychiatry in Ireland, having received a Medical Doctorate from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an MSc in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) at Trinity College Dublin. She is a member of the College of Psychiatrists in Ireland and was accredited as a CBT therapist by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Dr Kingston’s special interests include psycho-oncology, functional disorders and group-based mental health interventions in the general hospital setting.
Dr Kingston has published in the fields of first episode psychosis and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and also trained in group analytic psychotherapy.
