Speciality: Anaesthesiology 

Dr Rory Naughton graduated from UCD School of Medicine in 2002. He completed Higher Specialist Training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine and was awarded CSCST in 2013. He moved to the UK to undertake fellowships in cardiac anaesthesia and advanced airway management before being employed as a consultant anaesthetist in Barts Heart Centre, London.

In 2017 Dr Naughton was appointed as a consultant anaesthesiologist at St James’s Hospital and clinical senior lecturer at the School of Medicine, Trinity College, Dublin. He is a tutor for the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland and an interviewer for the national training scheme in anaesthesiology.
