Dr Nolan is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and trained as a clinical and laboratory haematologist in Ireland. During his training, he completed a PhD in Chromatin Biology pertaining to B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas and maintains research collaborations in the Trinity St James's Cancer Institute. Following completion of haematology training in Ireland, he completed a fellowship in lymphoma, myeloma, autologous stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada.
