The Winter School in Clinical Research is a four‑day online webinar series designed to provide healthcare professionals with a practical and accessible introduction to key aspects of clinical research.

Each day features focused lunchtime sessions delivered by expert speakers, aimed at strengthening participants’ understanding of research processes, methodologies, and best practice. Registration is required.

Winter Course in Clinical ResearchWelcome to the Winter Course in Clinical Research, a joint initiative between the Wellcome - Health Research Board Clinical Research Facility at St James’s Hospital (SJH), the SJH Research and Innovation Programme, SJH Nursing and the Trinity College Dublin School of Medicine.

The importance of training and education cannot be overstated in cultivating a workforce that is not only aware of research but actively participates in it — a key step toward SJH’s ambition of becoming an Academic Health Science Centre.

This Winter Course serves as a gateway to the dynamic field of clinical research for newcomers, while also offering valuable updates for experienced researchers.
