What we do

The fluoroscopy department of St James's hospital carries out the full range of fluoroscopic guided procedures including barium examinations of the upper an lower gastro-intestinal tract, fluoroscopic guided injections, hysterosalpingograms and proctograms. All examinations take place under a supervising consultant and are tailored to minimise radiation exposure whilst providing optimal diagnostic information.

Results

Results will be sent to your referring clinician. If your G.P. did not send you then he will not automatically receive the results.

G.P. results are sent out within 5-7 working days.
